Celtics Take Commanding 3-1 Series Lead

Boston One Win Away from Championship Glory

Boston, MA - The Boston Celtics are on the cusp of their 18th NBA championship after a thrilling 100-96 Game 4 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Monday night. The Celtics took a commanding 3-1 series lead, putting themselves just one win away from hoisting the Larry O'Brien Trophy.

Despite a shaky start to the game, the Celtics dominated the first half, closing the first quarter with a 15-point lead. They extended their advantage to 21 points early in the fourth quarter, but the Warriors staged a furious rally, cutting the deficit to just three points with under three minutes remaining.

However, the Celtics held on, with Jayson Tatum leading the way with 26 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists. Jaylen Brown added 24 points, while Marcus Smart chipped in with 23 points. Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 27 points, but he was held to just 10-of-26 shooting from the field.

The Celtics can now clinch the championship in Game 5 on Thursday night in San Francisco. A win would give them their first NBA title since 2008 and cement their legacy as one of the greatest franchises in league history.
